17-year old Entrepreneur takes his next step in building his Doughnut Empire!

Updated: Jul 11, 2018

Most 17-year olds biggest responsibility is figuring out what they are going to have for breakfast every morning, but young entrepreneur Morgan Hipworth spends any time he can out of school on his successful Doughnut Cafe. Morgan spends all of his breaks at school completing his homework and study so he can focus on his business every hour he can get his hands on!

Turning over $500K in 2017 Morgan knew it was time to take the next step for his business. He featured on Chanel 10's 'Shark Tank' Tuesday Night with big plans to open Flagship stores across the world. Morgan went on the show asking for $200K for 20% Stake, He received three offers, two from his idol, Janine Allis (Founder of 'Boost Juice') and one from Steve Baxter. Morgan declined all offers, although Janine Allis did offer to mentor Morgan throughout his journey. Morgan said "I mainly went into 'Shark Tank' to get the experience and expertise of the sharks so it was a great result getting a mentor ship with Janine"

Morgan says that if he was to get the $200K from one of the Sharks he would have used it to put framework into place to expand his business after he finished school. Morgan doesn't have plans to attend university as he says "it's straight into the business" as he will have more time to work on the business and expand his growth.
